Ingredients
Water, alcohol, Maidenhair (Adiantum capillus veneris L.) aerial parts 50%, Poppy (Papaver rhoeas L.) petals, Primrose (Primula veris L.) flowers, Mullein (Verbascum thapsus L.) flowers, Icelandic Lichen (Cetraria islandica Ach .) stem, Essential oils of: Pine (Pinus montana Mill.), Hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis L.), Tolu Balsam (Myroxylon balsamum Toluiferum HBK), honey, mixture of natural aromas.
The Capelvenere has especially expectorant properties; the plant contains tannins, gallic acid and essential oils. The leaves and the stem are used from the plant. This plant can be useful as an adjuvant in coughs, bronchitis, asthma, colds, rheumatism and colic.
Poppy can be useful as an adjuvant in bronchitis, asthmatic dipneas, insomnia and agitation in children. During the first Christianity the efficacy of Verbasco was discovered for cases of chronic cough. Contains aprx. 3% mucilage, iridoids with anti-inflammatory properties, saponins with expectorant properties, flavonoids that favor the elimination of catabolites, via the kidneys, digiprolactone, sterols, carotenoids, phenolic acids. From lichen, the mucilages made up of limeña and isoliquenine, by hydrolysis give a sugar: galactose; which is a traditional adjuvant for bronchial forms and stubborn coughs.
